| D512 | According with GB EDCr-B-03 | ||||||||
| Introduction: D512 is a kind of 2Cr13 valve surfacing electrode with lime-titania type coating. AC/DC. It has excellent welding performance. The weld metal is 2Cr13 martensitic high-chrome steel. The surfacing layer can be hardened in the air. Generally it does not need heat treatment. It has uniform hardness. It can also be softened under 750-800℃. When heated to 900-1000℃, it can be hardened again by air cooling or oil quenching. | |||||||||
| Uses: D512 is a kind of universal electrode used for surface overlaying. The surfacing layer is harder, more wear-resistant and more intractable than D502. Used for surfacing carbon steel or low-alloy steel axles, valves for overheated steam, blades of mixers, blades of screw conveyers, etc. | |||||||||
| Chemical Composition of Deposited Metal (%)
| |||||||||
| Hardness of Surfacing Layer:(Cooled in the Air after Welding)HRC≥45(Softening-resistant to500℃) | |||||||||
| Reference Current(AC, DC)
| |||||||||
| Instructions: 1.The electrodes must be baked under about 150℃ for an hour before welding. 2.The work pieces should be preheated to over 300℃ before welding, and different heat treatment after welding may produce corresponding hardness. | |||||||||
