Description and Applications HJ107 is a type of fused flux with non-manganese, medium-silicon, medium-fluorine content, bluish-gray to dark gray pumiceous grain in appearance. Its grain size is 2.0-0.28mm(10-60 meshes). Welding Flux HJ107 is suitable for use with DC power, filler wires connect with Positive Electrode. With low sensitivity towards below and excellent slag removal, the flux provides very good weld bead appearance and lower depth of penetration. Additional Feathers are less carbon generated and less burning loss of chromium when welding austenitic stainless steels. Flux is recommended for welding or buildup welding applications combined with austenitic stainless steel wires or strips like H0Cr21Ni10, H0Cr20Ni10Ti, H00Cr24Ni12Nb, H0Cr16Mn16, etc. It can be used in buildup welding of corrosion resistant layer of petrochemical equipment or structural units, and also being applied to Hadfield-steel buildup weld or repairing weld.
