Description and Applications SJ303 is a type of Si and Ca based agglomerated flux special for submerged arc overlay welding(SAW). Its grain size is 2.0-0.28mm(10-60meshes). SJ303 is suitable for use with DC power, filler wires connect with positive electrode. With stable burning arc, the flux provides excellent slag removal and smooth weld surface with uniform edges. SJ303 is recommended for the transition layer of the corrosion resistant stailess steel in surfacing, combining with welding strips(the width of strips≤75mm) such as H00Cr21Ni10, H00Cr19Ni12Mo2, etc.

Remarks: 1. Redry the flux at 300-350℃ for 2hours before welding. 2. Impurities such as rust, greasy dirt, moisture, ect.should be cleared from the welding area.
