HJ257  Fused Flux for S.A. Welding
 
 
Description and Applications
HJ257 is a type of fused flux with low-manganese, medium-silicon, medium-fluorine content, brown to black glassy grains. Its grain size is 2.5-0.45mm (8-40 meshes). Flux HJ257 is suitable for use with DC power, filler wires connec with Positive Electrode. With excellent slag removal.
Flux for welding of alloy high strength steels (e.g. 15MnV, 14MnMoV, 18MnMoVNb) in combination with appropriate SAW wires such as H08MnMoA, H08Mn2MoA, H08Mn2MoVA, etc.

Remarks:
1. Redry the flux at 300-350℃ for 2hours before welding.
