Agglomerated Flux for S A Welding Standard executed: GB/T5293-1999 F4A2-H08A Equivalent to : AWS A5.17 F6A0-EL12
Description and Applications SJ301 welding flux is a type of silicon and calcium based agglomerated flux, the basicity of which is about 1.0(neutral), black gray spherical grains in appearance. Its grain size is 2.0-0.28mm (10-60meshes). Flux SJ301 is suitable for use with AC ir DC power, filler wires connect with Positive Electrode while in DC, the maximum current can reach to 1200 amps. With stable burning arc, the flux provides very good weld bead appearance and excellent slag removal(the slag belongs to “short slag”). Flux SJ301 especially suits for circular seam welding due to there is no molten slag fluxing down when welding circular seam of minor diameter. Combined with appropriate SAW wires such as H08A, H08MnA, H08MoA, the flux is widely used in ordinary steel structures like boilers, pipelines. Flux SJ301 is also used for multi-wires rapid welding, so it especially suits for double-sided single pass welding. The weld bead transitions smoothly when welding large diameter steel pipes. Packing: 25kg per kraft paper bag or 1000kg per jumbo bag.
Remarks: 1. Redry the flux at 300-350℃ for 2hours before welding. 2. Impurities such as rust, greasy dirt, moisture, ect.should be cleared from the welding area.
